This device enables the brush to swing into action when needed, and then be pushed aside on the fly when not. It's another color that Kenny can add to his sound palette. You can hear a little of its effect in the video with Darrell Scott on the Home page (move slider to about the 4:30 mark).

Detail of center section - adjust stop nuts for
tension to hold in desired position.
Adjust position by rotating top of bracket right or left.

 


Bottom of bracket measurements:
1/8" x 3/4" aluminum strip

Drill 1/4" hole 3/4" from top of slot under bend,
and 1/4" hole 3/4" from bottom edge.
Use Saber Saw with metal cutting blade to cut
the slot between the holes
